Bill Stanton, the Wood Wizard, has over 20 years experience with building, new construction and renovations in Lake Placid, Saranac Lake and the surrounding region of the Adirondacks. Bill's projects have included constructing new homes and rental properties from the ground up, and renovating existing properties from the inside out.
New construction of a year-round rental property in Lake Placid
This 6,500 square foot house was built from the ground up. It has 7 bedrooms, 5 full bathrooms, kitchen, fireplace, central air, ceiling fans, exterior deck and parking. It rents nearly 365 days a year.
Renovation of a year-round vacation house in Jay
Having gone vacant through at least one Adirondack winter our work started with plumbing repair and a new furnace. Other work included painting, plastering, moulding, doors, appliances, carpeting, building new railings to match existing railings, replacing a section of siding, staining the siding, and installing gutters.
